WHAT IS ECOSHAKER?
Ecoshaker is an educational, environmental justice, and social media platform uniting the international community. Created and founded by Giada Lubomirski in 2014, Ecoshaker celebrates, supports, and promotes climate justice initiatives by focusing on the fashion industry, ocean health, and the liberation of Indigenous and marginalized communities worldwide.
Giada has collaborated with various organizations, schools, artists, designers, national parks, and politicians to support education and action surrounding environmental destruction and devastation. Some of Giada's most recent projects include assisting the Free Donziger movement in holding fossil fuel companies accountable, Fashion and the Oceans, Basta Con La Plastica for UN World Oceans Day, and serving on the board of directors for Clean & Healthy NY.
ECOSHAKER looks forward to launching Vintage4Change, a vintage initiative designed to serve a multitude of active ECOSHAKER causes. Ecoshaker soft launched the Vintage4Change initiative this Spring of 2026 and plans to launch the e-commerce website in Summer 2026.

Basta Con LA Plastica Documentary by EcoShaker & Godmother Films
In collaboration with La Maddalena Archipelago National Park & Ecoshaker BASTA CON LA PLASTICA…in mare is the first Ocean Plastic awareness week in Italy, launched in August 2019.
The week's goal is to raise awareness and educate different communities, in Italy and abroad, about the critical issues we face surrounding ocean plastic pollution and also how it affects the ocean's health and, in turn, human health.
The main mission is to bring tourists, locals, schools, businesses & national parks together for a clear and robust call to action. The week will consist of community beach clean-ups, educational information hubs, environmental film screenings, and expert panels.
This year, BASTA CON LA PLASTICA...in mare will launch its annual ocean plastic awareness week in La Maddalena, Sardinia, Italy.
